Bump To Baby Program

Pregnancy is a season of transformation—and your body deserves care that evolves right along with it.

All our patients that are pregnant go through our Pregnancy Program-Bump to Baby. It is built by our pelvic floor physical therapists who specialize in helping you move with confidence, manage symptoms, and prepare your body for birth and postpartum.

Whether you're early in your pregnancy, navigating new discomforts, or planning a smooth recovery, we're here to support you every step of the way.

Why Pelvic Floor PT During Pregnancy?

Most people don’t realize how much support the pelvic floor provides during pregnancy.

When your pelvic floor is functioning well, it helps with:

  • Reducing pain in the pelvis, hips, and low back

  • Supporting your growing belly and organs

  • Improving bladder control and pressure management

  • Creating space and flexibility for labor

  • Preparing for postpartum healing

What’s Included in the Pregnancy Program?

  • Our program is structured to meet your body’s changing needs with trimester-specific care and ongoing support. It includes:

    One-on-One Pelvic Floor Evaluations
Personalized assessment of your pelvic floor, alignment, strength, and mobility.

    Trimester-Specific Follow-Ups
Guided movement and bodywork to manage symptoms like back pain, pubic pain, or pressure.

    Birth Prep + Pushing Guidance
Practical, body-based education to help you feel informed and in control during labor.

    Strengthening Classes
Small-group classes (or 1:1 movement sessions) to safely support your core and pelvic floor.

    Postpartum Planning
We help you prepare for recovery, early movement, and setting yourself up for postpartum PT.

Who Is This Program For?

This program is ideal for anyone who is pregnant! But especially if:

  • Pregnant and wanting to stay active and comfortable

  • Experiencing pelvic, back, or hip pain during pregnancy

  • Looking to prepare for a smoother birth experience

  • Planning ahead for postpartum recovery

  • Noticing symptoms like leaking, heaviness, or core weakness

  • Unsure what’s “normal” and what’s treatable

Pregnancy Program FAQs

When should I start PT during pregnancy?

Anytime! Many people begin between 12–16 weeks, but we see patients as early as 8 weeks and as late as 39 weeks. It’s never too early—or too late—to get support.

What symptoms can pelvic PT help with during pregnancy?

  • Pelvic pain or pressure

  • Low back or SI joint pain

  • Pubic symphysis discomfort

  • Leaking urine or heaviness

  • Core weakness or coning

  • Feeling unsteady or unsupported in movement

Is it safe to exercise during pregnancy with PT?

Yes! Our PTs are trained to guide safe, effective movement that supports your pelvic floor and whole body. We’ll help you stay active in a way that feels good and supports your goals.

Do I need to have symptoms to benefit from this program?

Nope! Many people come to prepare for birth, learn how to protect their body, and plan for recovery. Think of it like proactive care—just like prenatal vitamins, but for your muscles and movement.

Will I still need postpartum PT?

Most likely—yes. Even a smooth delivery can leave you with muscle imbalances, scar tissue, or pelvic floor symptoms. The good news? Starting during pregnancy makes postpartum rehab more efficient and effective.

How do I get started?

You can book your initial pregnancy evaluation right online; book a PELVIC FLOOR EVALUATION for your first visit with us, or contact us with any questions. We’d love to support you!
