Everyone has a pelvis and everyone has a pelvic floor. There are several ways that pelvic floor dysfunction can present in men:

Frequent urination during the day and/or night
groin pain
Chronic hip and low back pain
Recurrent or chronic sports hernias
Post-prostatectomy changes
“Especially if you are a man who’s hesitant to address the pelvic floor. I’m glad I took the chance on this therapy”
We treat many conditions related to, but not limited to:
Pelvic symptoms: pain, urinary/bowel incontinence, sciatica, penile pain, scrotal pain, exercise based pain/incontinence
Lumbopelvic symptoms: low back pain, sciatica, groin pain, hip pain
Bladder conditions: Interstitial cystitis, Overactive bladder syndrome, recurrent/culture negative UTI’s or burning when you urinate
GI conditions: IBS/IBD, constipation, dyssynergic defecation
Cancer treatment side effects: post-prostatectomy pain/loss of function or incontinence, post-radiation fibrosis, neuropathy, balance, gradual strengthening and return to function programs
As pelvic floor physical therapists, we can help! We can assess the health and mobility of your pelvic floor muscles and the surrounding tissue to determine the underlying cause of your symptoms and build a personal therapy program to improve them.

Choice in Provider
At Level Up Wellness + Physical Therapy, we offer both male and female pelvic health providers who treat men, so you can choose the clinician you feel most comfortable with. Men’s pelvic health concerns are more common than most people realize, and we are committed to making care approachable, respectful, and accessible—without limiting your options based on provider gender.
Patients may choose a male pelvic floor physical therapist for several reasons, including:
Personal comfort and preference
Cultural or religious considerations
Preference for a male provider when treating male pelvic health conditions
Prior healthcare experiences
Desire for relatability in discussing sensitive symptoms
Whatever your reason, we support your choice and ensure your care remains respectful, trauma-informed, and clinically excellent.
