MEN’S PELVIC FLOOR PT

Everyone has a pelvis and everyone has a pelvic floor. There are several ways that pelvic floor dysfunction can present in men:

  • Constipation

  • pain during or after sex

  • Erectile Dysfunction

  • Leaking urine

  • Frequent urination during the day and/or night

  • groin pain

  • Chronic hip and low back pain

  • Recurrent or chronic sports hernias

  • Post-prostatectomy changes

We treat many conditions related to, but not limited to:

  • Pelvic symptoms: pain, urinary/bowel incontinence, sciatica, penile pain, scrotal pain, exercise based pain/incontinence

  • Lumbopelvic symptoms: low back pain, sciatica, groin pain, hip pain

  • Bladder conditions: Interstitial cystitis, Overactive bladder syndrome, recurrent/culture negative UTI’s or burning when you urinate

  • GI conditions: IBS/IBD, constipation, dyssynergic defecation

  • Cancer treatment side effects: post-prostatectomy pain/loss of function or incontinence, post-radiation fibrosis, neuropathy, balance, gradual strengthening and return to function programs
